Sleeping has all the sudden become a challenge for me! I am so frustrated when there are nights where I just lay there and cannot get my mind to relax! Our Echo Alexa can play "Thunderstorm Sounds" and that helps. Magnesium taken as a supplement or applied topically helps. But there are just times that nothing helps.
Lavender help to calm and relax. So can Ylang Ylang. These oils contain Monoterpenols and Esters which are chemical components that support relaxation and sleep. I love both of these oils! The best way to enjoy these oils is to diffuse them in a diffuser like the one shown here.
When I diffuse oils, I put water up to the maximum line in the diffuser and put 10 drops of oil in the water receptacle. It is such a relaxing experience. I suggest that you do not diffuse oils for more that a couple of hours at a time. The oils can do their work in two hours! Off to Sleepy Time!!!!
